Rally racing the rental

Tim has a death grip on the “oh shit” handle as we drop down the mountain. He really freaked when he saw me take this picture with my phone. “Watch the road Browne!” As I have mentioned before, I rent the car for these trips. I reason being is that I enjoy beating the crap [...]
The press corp is getting fat

They are feeding us with Weight Watchers cookies today. I rhetorically asked is this a hint that we’re getting fat, Joe Silva, our contributor said, “Just you Neil.” Damn now I’m really depressed.
ROAD is in Georgia

We are here in Tybee for the start of the TdG. I’ve continued my long tradition of sucking up to Waffle House. Look for more Waffle House videos on the ROAD site as the race progresses.
Texas here I come!!

It’s not every day that Lance Armstrong sends me an email. In fact, till now, Lance has never sent me an email or granted me an interview (I heard that he thought I was kinda dicky). But hey, I’m not bitter. Anyways, what do I see in my inbox today but an invitation to attend [...]

That said, riders have come out of the woodwork and won in the past like Knaven and Guesdon. So in honor of Roubaix, Banning’s Bikes [...]
This is how my team unwinds

I’m flying the flag for Surf City Cyclery this year (no I didn’t turn pro). We just finished the Cat 3 race and now we’re unwinding with a cool Chimay Belgium Ale in honor of Flanders.
Don’t fracking bother me tonight

The best show on television returns tonight. Yes I’m talking about Battlestar Galactica. So between writing about the Redlands Classic and Twittering, I’ll be watching the pre-BG shows, and my NetFlixed BG’s Razor episode. My evening is complete!
Gayest. Helmet. Ever.

Cameron Fox is racing for Sho-Air/Sonace and he contested the tt in this helmet. Fox is a little odd.
Free beer and sushi

I’ve walked around the parking lot here in Redlands and I’ve landed at the Successful Living trailer. Why? They offered me sushi and beer.
