Amgen Tour of California – Behind the curtain

After hanging out on Trinity Grade yesterday, I thought I’d do something that didn’t include having to down drinks that could potential make me blind. I decided to see what happens behind the curtain in the Versus mobile production van.

The production van is jammed full of laptops, monitors, and electronic lights all flashing on and off. Inside at any time there can be three to five people running in and out, checking on the status of something and basically trying to keep ahead of the madness that is a live broadcast program. But of any day to stop by this one was filled with drama.
