School Is In: First Semester Grades for Cycling Teams
Quoting team Quick Step boss Patrick Lefevere, “The cycling season is like a school year. It is divided into three semesters. The first is the Spring Classics, that is followed by the Tour de France, which is the second major report, and in October the booking is made.” So as we move into May and the Classics are behind us, let’s look back at the 2010 season so far and see who got a happy star by their name and who needs to go back to study hall.
Quick Step with a surprising lackluster Spring campaign could only muster a “C” with the additional comment, “Needs to pay better attention in class”.
